Ten Rules For Being Human!

Ten Rules for Being Human

Ten Rules for Being Human

You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it’s yours to keep for the entire period.

Ten Rules for Being Human

You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, “life.”

Ten Rules for Being Human

There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the   experiments that ultimately “work.”

Ten Rules for Being Human

Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.

Ten Rules for Being Human

Learning lessons does not end. There’s no part of life that doesn’t contain its lessons. If you’re alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.

Ten Rules for Being Human

“There” is no better a place than “here.” When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that will again look better than “here.”

Ten Rules for Being Human

Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

Ten Rules for Being Human

What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

Ten Rules for Being Human

Your answers lie within you. The answers to life’s questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.

Ten Rules for Being Human

You will forget all this.

  13. I love this post, especially the last point. I’ve always thought that babies are born knowing the secrets of the Universe but they forget them as they grow up.

An excellent summary. So true. Life is about ongoing or continuous improvement. Now what Socrates had to say, makes more sense: “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”

    Thank you for sharing this.

  18. Thanks for the great share about life.

This is one of my fav quote about life: Every individual has a place to fill in the world and is important, in some respect, whether he chooses to be so or not. – Nathaniel Hawthorne

  19. Good line-up. Listen, learn, never stop, search for truth and I add, Let God lead.
    Thanks!

  20. Sheila says:

Great site and I am coveting your bird friend! The only point that I have never agreed with is that we hate in others something we hate in ourselves. There are many character flaws that are not reflective of my flaws. For example: liars. While my sins are legion, lying is not one of them. Yet, liars infuriate me. I have admired many beautiful qualities in others that I do not possess, yet, I can still be glad they have them. Sheila

  21. Petula says:

There is one area of my life that I’m still trying to figure out what the lesson is. Regardless of how I respond or what I do in a particular situation it still ends unsuccessfully… in my opinion. It has been one of those things that I really wish someone else would solve or fix for me. :-) Cool post.

    • wil says:

maybe that’s the way the lesson was supposed to turn out and it’s your perception that creates the “problem” (someone who is wiser than I (wouldn’t take much) told me, ‘It’s not a problem, it’s an opportunity”)

  22. Great site! Love these thoughts….
